Wow! Misty is going to be one before I know it. Time definitely flies with the second child. And boy is she keeping up! Every day she is learning something new. She pulls herself up to furniture now, and just today started taking steps while holding on. She waves bye and claps her hands. She loves crackers and books, and also finds interest in big brother's movies for longer than you would expect. Misty also loves to torment her brother by splashing him in the tub. They play so well together otherwise. We have this toy phone that is on wheels and you can pull it by a cord and it will follow you. Wyatt does that in our house and Misty just follows as fast as she can, laughing and excited to maybe get it. Misty is a good sleeper, and up until now, would only go to sleep if we swaddled her really tight. She has been the perfect addition to our family with her vivacious spirit and sweet smile. If she's tired, she loves to snuggle which everyone, especially daddy, enjoys. We love our little girl and can't imagine life without her.

Nine Months Old!

I loved this post! It's fun for me to see what Misty is up to because Brooke is only a few months (well 5) behind her. It's hard for me to believe that one day Brooke will be doing all those things too.
She sure is a cutie! They do grow up too fast.

Hey I would have to agree the second one does grow so fast, Caden is going to be a year next month and it feels like yesterday that he joined our family.
Misty is a very cute baby. She looks so much like Ross in that picture, but otherwise I think she looks a lot like you too! She really is pretty little girl!

Stewart puts Maddy in the 'chokie' to get her to sleep.
It means hold her real tight til she gives up... similar to what you are talking about with Misty.
