It's a Boy!

Our little sweetheart, Morgan Roscoe, was born on December 30, 2009 at 10:14 AM. He weighed in at 6lbs 14 oz and was 19 inches long. He rolled from one side to another the moment they put him on the warming bed to clean him up. The nurses were so surprised, but I guess I should have warned them. He's been a VERY active baby since the first time I felt him move.

So in love!

Brothers--Wyatt an Morgan. Is Virgil next???

Misty LOVES the "bebe". She likes to put her face down by him and say "Hi. Hi. Hi."

P.S. There are two new posts below this. Please keep scrolling down to get our whole month of December. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We sure did.

Christmas EVE!

Christmas in our home was practically effortless for me this year. I did most of my shopping online, and come December 1st, Ross had our tree cut and setup. So I got the fun and easy part of decorating. I guess I needed the energy to plan the May Family Christmas Party. Ross and I were in charge and were fortunate enough to be able to use the Cox Family Cabin. We got to snowmobile into the cabin and spend three or four days together. It was so fun. All the children had a blast playing outside in the snow, and all the adults were so grateful for such a place to stay together for a weekend. That took place the weekend before Christmas.

Ross had to work the 23rd-26th on the week of Christmas so we had to make some adjustments. We thought about waking up Wyatt and Misty at 5am to open presents before dad had to leave, but Ross wanted to be able to spend some time with them after they opened their presents. So on Christmas Eve, I took the kids to Wal-Mart just before Ross would get home. Santa got everything ready by the time we got back from the store. Even though we didn't get to wake them up and tell them Santa came, they were just as excited to find that he had come while we were gone to the store.

Sorry for the picture overload. I was just as excited as they were. Christmas is even more fun now, since my kids are older, than when I was little.

Excited to get started.

What did Santa bring?

Before we went to bed, we had a little basketball game in Wyatt's room with his gift from Santa.

Misty was the cheerleader...

Yeah right! Look at those skills!!

Christmas day we headed over to spend Christmas evening with the Baileys. Traditional pizza party with games and presents. It was so fun to be able to see almost everyone in mine and Ross' family for the holidays.

Turning 3!

My little man turned three last month. He's getting so big. I kept asking him what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday. If you know my son, when he's asked a question, he'll just repeat the question. He's getting better at responding, but I gave up and decided to go simple with a candy cane cake. You can tell he loved the "W for Wyatt". That is what he is saying in this picture, and I proudly predicted this response. So I felt better about not wanting to go all out on a Thomas the Train cake. He was excited, and that made me happy.

PRESENTS!

Misty has to be in front of the camera saying, "CHEEEEESE!"
She still has potatoes on her face :)

I had to throw this picture in. This is a usual sight for us in the morning. He makes his way across the hall to the bathroom during the night. Maybe he secretly wants to be potty-trained?? Or maybe he's a little sleep-walker like his dad was as a child. Too funny.

Wyatt has ALWAYS been a great helper. He loves to play with his little sister and dad. He'll come up and give me the nicest hug and kiss and say, "Nice Loves". He just melts my heart with his giggles and smiles. He's learning his letters and colors and counts to ten. He also loves to work puzzles, and that has become on of his favorite things to do! He's always been an observant learner, so he had to watch the puzzle be put together before he would try, and he is doing so well. We love you so much Wyatt! You bring us so much joy.
