We haven't fallen from the face of the earth! I've been dreading this post, but it is much needed. I've been putting off my blog til I found my camera(lost again),but that doesn't seem like it will happen soon. So here goes. Since my last post, I've had two trips to NV. One to Reno for one of my best friend's baby shower. I hadn't seen my friends from Reno for a few years. Misty and I flew over, and we had a blast! Then a trip to Overton, NV for my grandma's homecoming. It was so good to see her and the May family. It was a fun, but hot, trip. Ross couldn't come because of work. He was missed, but he will be able to come down with us for Thanksgiving. Then a family get-together for Evelyn and Adia's 1st birthdays(Angelica's twins); then another gathering for General Conference, which was much needed and enjoyed.
Ross has applied to work at the State Fish Hatchery here. We haven't heard anything back, just waiting. He applied just in time for us to decide to move away for a year. We will be house-sitting for a family friend while their mission in Nauvoo has been extended a year. Not too far from home. Sorry, I'm not being specific on the location--trying to keep it safe in the blogosphere. We will be moving mid-November. I've begun teaching piano lessons and will be able to keep some of my students after the move. I'm at 28 weeks, and the baby is growing and kicking. I have been bottling for a month straight it seems...very happy that it is coming to a close--I think.
Wyatt can count to ten and is learning his letters and colors gradually. I'm not sure how to keep him under control anymore. He throws toys and jumps off and on everything. Is this normal for little boys? What happened to my mellow man? No, I still love him to pieces, just wearing me out! But it always seems like just when I've had enough things happen that make it all worth it . The other day I asked him to help me put the books away, and he just helped without argument and sang the "cleanup" song. Just as we finished, I asked him to takes some dirty clothes up to his basket. So he did, and was up there for a while, then I could hear some noise with the toys so I went up to check it out. He had picked up all the dirty clothes in his room, and then proceeded to put his toys away!! It just made my day!
Misty is walking and has been for a month (aren't I terrible?) She is doing new things every single day. Yesterday, my mom gave her a cracker and she said "thanks." Hasn't said it since, but we're sure she learned it from Wyatt. Today Wyatt was turning in circles till he was so dizzy, he'd fall down, and Misty followed suit. It was funny to watch them try to walk.
Ross is off hunting right now. His hunt doesn't actually open til Wednesday, but he wanted to have a few days to scout out the deer. We won't see him til Saturday at the very latest, but this is a MUCH needed break for him. Lucky for me, there is lots of family to fill any loneliness or boredom. Also, Ross is being moved to days for the next few months-YAY! A normal sleeping pattern for him! Nights has been very wearing on him, and it's hard to keep the children quiet. This is kind of the tip of the ice berg for us right now. I can't believe how busy life gets! I doubt anyone will read this far..kind of a long monologue, but that's what's been going on with us.--LIFE!

You're such a great mother Chavonne. I'm sure Misty has learned her good habits not only from Wyatt, but from you and Ross. And sounds like Wyatt is a normal, busy, little boy!:) We love you guys and all pray for you during all the changes that are coming for you in the coming months!
A lot has been going on for you lately. Your kids are constantly doing new things and growing up so fast. We will see you at Thanksgiving!!
A lot of changes for your family! It's good that you have gotten to spend some time with your family-- your trips sound fun. It's always nice to get away for a while. Glad things are going well!
