Camping Trip

Every year for Memorial Day weekend we load up and head down to the Arizona Strip where my mother grew up. Mt. Trumbull is mostly owned by the Bundy family, and that is where we hold our reunions. We always have so much fun. A couple of my sisters couldn't make it out this year. We missed them, but had fun nonetheless. Above is Wyatt on a swing. We'd go over and push him, and he would have the time of his life. When it stopped swinging, he would just wait for someone to come and push him again. It was cute.

Relaxing in the cabin.

Houston and Peyton (Daisie's boys) playing the quiet game around the fire.

All the guys going for a ride, even Wyatt. Ross and Neil got a little lost. The trip ended up lasting about seven hours. Ross had never been so saddle soar. I'm just glad Wyatt held up. He loves riding "dad's bike".

Misty having a little freedom. There were very few places I'd let her down, even though she ended up pretty dirty at the end of the day. I'm paying for it now, though. She wants me to hold her all the time.

Haha! Talk about DIRTY!! I think he found a cup or a small bucket and just dumped it on his head, like he does with water in the tub.

This picture didn't turn out so well, but this is my love packing up to go home. He does so much to make this an enjoyable trip for us every year. I'm so glad that he loves going out to the ranch as much as I do. I love you honey!!

That is so great that you go camping every year. Blake has been wanting to go camping, but I don't think I'm ready to try it with Brooke quite yet. Glad you had a good weekend! Maybe soon you'll be getting a swing set for Wyatt and Misty =)

Sounds like a good time. Laynee seems to be that dirty every day. Sad.

You guys are so good to keep up the family tradition.

That's not too far from Cest .n. Moe's (Celestial & Elijah) place in Scenic... if we are talking miles... however if your are talking roads I have no clue.
They actually live in Scenic. But the saying is... as the crow flies.

How did the AZ strip get its name anyway? You probably know the answer.

It's the strip of land north of the Grand Canyon. You can't get to it from anywhere else in AZ unless you hike down and up. Maybe that's why?
