Mimicking Mommy
I shouldn't post this, because everyone will know what a mean mom I am. But it gave me a little chuckle, so I thought I'd keep a record of it. Yesterday, I was doing the dishes while Wyatt ate his lunch. He wasn't talking to anyone in particular, but he was saying, "Hear me? Stop! Hear me? Stop!"; because mom says, "Do you hear me? Stop it!" Then later on, Misty had a disc that went to his viewfinder. I told him to take it away from her so she wouldn't chew it up. He took it away and said, "No, Misty, spank a bum!" I had to explain to him that only mom and dad give spankings, which we really don't do very often. I guess we will really have to be careful what we say from now on.

my kids always seem to repeat the words I don't want them to. that is too cute. the latest is if my kids don't hear something I say I say never mind, forget about it. Well now that is Addy's favorite saying and says it all the time. kids are too funny.
they really do hear everything and don't always have the best timing.
That's too funny. But I don't think you are a bad mom for spanking either.
Wow, that is pretty funny. I love hearing all this!
I love it! I feel like I'm reading about my life. Sometimes I'm surprised at what my kids will say ... that is until I hear myself saying it:)!
Haha that still makes me laugh.
Hey it's good to hear from you. You have got a great looking family. I would have to say that we have all been there with the repeat from the children. Well at least I have.
Hey Chavonne, I don't know if you remember me, but we were pregnant at the same time at Aggie Village, and I was your visiting teacher. Anyways... I found your blog off of Natalie's! Thought I would say hi! I agree at how funny they are when they copy you. Sydney has now started saying "shoot, shoot shoot" a lot. I know I say it, and she has heard me, so now she walks around doing it when anyone does something wrong. It is just funny what kids say!
