Last week, my family had our Christmas Party. We had to do it earlier this year so everyone could make it. My little sister, Felicia, hosted it. She served Prime Rib, ham, potatoes, salad, and wonderful desserts. What a feast! We drew names for presents and everyone received some very nice gifts. The highlight of the evening, though, aside from being all together, were all of our children. All 14 of the grandchildren participated in a little nativity play while Grandpa narrated. I take that back, one of the twins wasn't in it, but the other was baby Jesus. Wyatt was one of the wise men and Misty was the star. We were supposed to dress them up in whatever we could find around the house. It was so cute. The oldest two, Houston and Jaycee, are 6 and 5. They played Mary and Joseph. The rest were five years and younger. I wondered how it would pan out, since some of them were a little young and might not understand what was even going on. But it was amazing to me to see all of these children just gather around the baby once the narrator said He was born. They just knew what to do! It was so precious, and I couldn't help but get a little choked up over the innocence of these children. They were so reverent and did such a marvelous job!

For me, there have been many events this month that have really helped to bring in the Christmas spirit. Amidst all the stress and shopping, it is sometimes hard to remember the true meaning of Christmas. But I'm grateful for these experiences that help me remember my Savior and His miraculous birth into this world. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Oh..Wow, that sounds so nice. It must be awesome getting everyone together, and so cute seeing all the cousins together. Beautiful and amazing memories. My sister better get on it, my kids have no cousins yet, they need some. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and A Happy New Year.
That was almost our party to a tee. All the kids dressed up. It was wonderful. Since I probably won't get Christmas cards sent, we hope you have a Merry Christmas too.
